New York’s H&H Bagels has announced the upcoming opening of its newest location in Boca Raton, Florida, its first expansion outside of New York City, later this month.
With seven locations across New York City, the Boca Raton location will be the first franchise location, beginning a new chapter in the iconic bagel brand’s move towards bringing classic, authentic, New York City bagels to customers nationwide.
In March, H&H Bagels signed franchise development agreements for 50 locations as part of its nationwide expansion. It will be opening franchise and company-owned locations in top US metro markets, including:
- California: Santa Monica
- Connecticut: Stamford
- Florida: West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Jacksonville
- Illinois: Chicago
- Massachusetts: Boston
- Michigan: Detroit
- New York: Kips Bay, Penn Station, Times Square, Penn District
- Tennessee: Knoxville
- Texas: Dallas
- Virginia: Northern, Virginia Beach / Norfolk
- Washington DC
H&H Bagels was founded in 1972 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and has become synonymous with the quintessential New York City bagel, making appearances on shows such as Sex and the City and Seinfeld. With seven locations across the New York City area, the chain has maintained its original recipe and artisanal water bagel method to make its bagels for over 50 years.
