What’s new on Netflix and what’s leaving in January 2024

Society of the Snow | Official Trailer | Netflix

If you were wondering if Netflix was planning to slow down in January 2024, the answer is a resounding “no.” On the first day of 2024, Netflix is adding a new British crime series, Fool Me Once, the Bitconned documentary, as well as an assortment of fan-favorite flicks like the first three John Wick movies, Aquaman, Gravity, School of Rock, and more.

For some streaming services, that would be enough content for the month. But Netflix has a very busy schedule in January that includes another crime drama, Griselda, as well as the return of He-Man in the mature animated original series, Masters of the Universe: Revolution. Curiously, there are a handful of shows and films coming to Netflix this month that don’t have specific release dates yet. That’s very unusual for Netflix.

Keep reading for our complete roundup of everything new on Netflix in January 2024 and everything that’s leaving at the end of the month. Our picks for the month are in bold.

If you’re looking for some additional guidance on what to watch, we also have lists of the best movies on Netflix and the best shows on Netflix. If Netflix isn’t your only streaming service, we also have helpful articles on the best movies on Amazon Prime and the best TV shows on Amazon Prime, as well as plenty of guides for Hulu, Disney+, and HBO Max.
