This latest bakery is retail only and was a former Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory space. The location sells two sizes of cupcakes, small and medium. Whimsical rolled fondant covered jumbo cupcakes are available on request only. The mall location has already produced some special occasion/wedding cake orders in just the first two weeks it was open. Mercedes says she makes about 10 wedding and 45 10-inch cakes a month.
Prior to creating Bake Me A Cake, this husband and wife team would travel internationally teaching the art of sugar and baking. Mercedes has been teaching sugar art for the past 25 years. Her creativity and attention to detail has placed her as one of the nations most recognized cake decorators.
