Retail Bakers of America looks to help those affected by Maui wildfires
The Retail Bakers of America (RBA) and the Baking Industry Foundation (BIF) are teaming up to collect donations and share donation pages of bakeries affected by the Maui (Hawaii) wildfires.
The BIF’s Maui Student Initiative supports affected students enrolled in Baking and Pastry programs on Maui. In addition, the RBA will provide Certificated Journey Baker exams for the students in the affected area. Those who wish to contribute money towards the BIF Maui Student Initiative can do so at the BIF’s website.
BIF is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible. BIF is registered to accept donations from the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
