Wisconsin bakery inspires kids through inventive promotion
A Swiss-inspired retail bakery in southern Wisconsin is generating excitement in creative ways with a colorful cake coloring contest for their young shoppers. New Glarus Bakery is inviting children ages 13 and under to enter the contest that features three age brackets: under 6, 7-10, and 11-13. Winners in each age bracket will receive an 8-inch round cake decorated with their designs. Children from across the region are invited to participate.
“It is our pleasure to announce a cake coloring contest to seek out junior cake decorators who would love to show off their blossoming creativity,” says Angela Neff, owner of New Glarus Bakery. “Winners chosen will be presented with an edible award of an 8-inch cake in their winning design.”
