Insomnia Cookies opens first New Orleans location
Insomnia Cookies has brought its late night cookie delivery concept to the Big Easy. On Friday, March 1, the bakery opened its second location in the state of Louisiana and its first in the city of New Orleans.
To celebrate the grand opening, Insomnia Cookies offered a free traditional cookie to all customers presenting a coupon in-store through Friday, March 8 at 3 a.m. Among the cookie options are the bakery’s nine traditional flavors, including Chocolate Chunk, Snickerdoodle, Double Chocolate Chunk, Sugar, M&M, Double Chocolate Mint, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter Chip, and White Chocolate Macadamia.
“We are thrilled to now be serving New Orleans and the students of Tulane, Xavier, and Loyola Universities,” says Tom Carusona, Chief Marketing Officer at Insomnia Cookies. “Maple Street is the perfect location for student’s day-time and late-night cravings fix.”
Many Insomnia Cookies locations are strategically placed near college campuses. The company typically aims for areas with a large college or university presence or in dense urban markets with heavy nighttime and/or daytime traffic.
