Insomnia Cookies gives away cookies and 76ers tickets at Philadelphia store opening
Warm cookie delivery bakery Insomnia Cookies got its start in Philadelphia. The company was founded by Seth Berkowitz in his University of Pennsylvania college dorm room in 2003. Since then, it has grown to more than 140 locations throughout the country, including nine in its home city.
The newest Philadelphia location opened on Monday, October 22. Insomnia Cookies is celebrating with free cookies for all its guests. The company currently has a coupon for a free cookie available on its Facebook page that is good until Sunday, October 28.
Also during their visit, customers can enter to win two tickets to the November 9th Philadelphia 76ers basketball game against the Charlotte Hornets. The deadline to enter is Friday, October 26 at 5 p.m. EST and the contest is open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen years old at the time of entry.
A tenth Insomnia Cookies location in Philadelphia is being planned for the South Philadelphia area. On the other side of the country, Insomnia Cookies opened its first California location earlier this month in the city of Davis. A second location in the state is set to open in San Diego before the end of the year.
